Hi everyone...

Shall i tell you a joke. Ok i'm telling. Finally the end of the world comes. People from each country burns in different cauldrons in hell and each cauldron has it's own demon to watch it over. When someone tries to get out of the cauldron the demon pushes him back into the cauldron. But one of the cauldrons has no demon watching it over. Someone from the cauldron in which the french burn notices that. It's the caldron the Turkish burn in. French man asked the demon why there's no demon near the turkish cauldron. And the demon's answer is "Don't worry about it. When a turk tries to escape another turk will surely catch him and take him into the cauldron again" :D :smiley10: (I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry)

I think it's a very meaningful joke. Why on earth do we Turkish people always dig a pit for each other. I really wonder what you think about that. I'd be glad if you shared your opinions with me

Thanks in advance for your interest and comments.

To me, we shouldn't be such pessimistic people. Turks are better than most of peoples.

Whenever l start to tell something nice/beautiful/good about our country or our people, there is always someone start to tell bad/negative things after it.
Even we are not able to enjoy our nice...
Offff course l know we are not "snow-white spoon" but at least try to enjoy good things...

If l say Istanbul is the one of the most beautiful city in the world; someone start tell us how bad things happens in it.

Interesting is : All these bad things placed in other cultures/places as much as placed in ours.

You're right sir. We shouldn't be pessimistic. But we shouldn't be optimistic too. We must be realistic and accept the truth.

the indigenous peoples of Australia

In ancient times, the Chinese referred to the peoples to their south collectively as the Yue. Historical texts often refer to the Hundred Yue tribes

"s" with the "people" is used in many words...sentences...

The Law of Peoples

The Law of Peoples is American Philosopher John Rawls's work on international relations. First published in 1993 as a short article, in 1999, was expanded and joined with another essay "The Idea of Public Reason Revisited" to form a full length book. The Law of Peoples examines the state of nature between 'peoples'. Rawls applies a modified version of his original position thought experiment to international relations. Rawls says that 'peoples', not states, form the basic unit that should be examined. Groups of people forming states should be encouraged to follow the principles from Rawls's earlier A Theory of Justice. Democracy seems like it would be the most logical means for accomplishing these goals, but benign non-democracies, what he calls consultation hierarchies, should also be seen as acceptable at the international stage. Rawls develops eight principles for how people should act on an international stage:

"Peoples (as organized by their government) are free and independent, and their freedom and independence is to be respected by other peoples."
"Peoples are equal and parties to their own agreements."
"Peoples have the right of self-defense but no right to war."
"Peoples are to observe a duty of non-intervention."
"Peoples are to observe treaties and undertakings."
"Peoples are to observe certain specified restrictions on the conduct of war (assumed to be in self-defense)."
"Peoples are to honor human rights."[1]
"Peoples have a duty to assist other peoples living under unfavorable conditions that prevent their having a just or decent political and social regime

You should't believe and accept this stuation blindly. We are Turks living in this forum, and although we
know eachother by means of this website, this can't be an obstacle for us to become close friends and to behave sincerely eachother. We struggle to help eachother as much as we can, u know? Turks are known as Turks on account of their struggle to keep themself hospitable, honest till 4ever.

No men shall ridicule other men: it may well be that those (they ridicule) are better than themselves.
