I use the nickname @jasco at first. It was an uglier version of my name -yasemin-(but what can I do= ama napayıım.:)). Then I used Lavinia just for changing the name "jasco." At that time I was listening the song lavinia by Feridun Düzağaç. I’ve always been an admirer of Özdemir Asaf’s poems. So also the poem Lavinia. I showed to Angel two nickname; Petunya ( a flower), or the nick Lavinia. She chose it for me. Thanks girl :D

At first my nickname was yahyacan49. It has an interesting story. I have a colleague whom I love and loved by very much. He always calls me as "yahyacan". Seven years ago when I first decided to have an e-mail, I had to choose a nickname, because at that time nicknames were very popular. Hardly anybody used to use their real names.While I was thinking about what nickname to choose, my friend came in and said "yahyacan, ne yapıyorsun?". At that time I decided to choose yahyacan as nickname.

When I first met Seyfi Hoca and other friends, my nickname was yahyacan49 in this forum. With the request of Seyfi Hoca, I decided to choose my current name. As you see, it isn't a nickname.

"Muhteşem Kanuni" refers to Kanuni Sultan Süleyman. I have chosen this nickname as a grandchild (I believe so) and a fan of OTTOMAN. Infact, all sultans of Ottoman Empire are important and special for me, but Sultan Süleyman is a little different from others.
