The earthquake that hit Kashmir brought more than grief and devastation .More than 50.000 people were dead ,thousands were injured and a whole generation disappeared. ........... In the aftermath ,the citizens got together and responded to calls for help,united as a nation in a common cause.
a) The society changed from a warm-hearted cohesive force into a self-interested disunited nation.
b) In such cases govermental bureaucatic structures fail terribly
c) All in all ,they are ready to sacrifice whatever they can to help others in the hour of need
d) Not for single moment was Pakistan defeated by this horrendous situation
e) Catastrophes like Hurricane Katrina and the Kashmir earthquake can serve as eye openers.
