Considering everyone rules his/her own life, he/she is the protagonist of his/her own story (life). In light of this idea, I wonder whether you regard yourself as a round character or a flat character.

PS: As told "everyone is the protagonist of his/her life", I'm sure most will choose round, though I wonder if there will be someone to choose flat.

Regards.

Undoubtedly,I am a round character person. :) I wanted to be a flat character but my personal belief does not accept that. :)

I actually choose (or rather, chose) flat myself. My activities are few and predictable, my behavior tends towards obsession/compulsion (which is an all-too-predictable style of behavior), my speech is ridden with clichés (a dear old friend of mine once wrote that I had "a cliché scar from the left side of my forehead to just down below my left eyebrow"), my writing is measured and pedantic, my appearance is run-of the-mill, and my interests—although rather diverse on the surface—are all united by a single theme that is, in itself, entirely predictable given my background.

In short, I am very flat.

P.S.—This is a very good question, and I hope others appreciate that fact as much as I do.

To be honest I've never heard these terminologies before. And I wanna give a quick definition : (From answers.com)

Round characters When used as a literary term, a "round character" refers to a character that has been fully developed by an author, physically, mentally, and emotionally, and is detailed enough to seem real. A round character is usually a main character, and is developed over the course of the story.

A flat character, is it's opposite, having hardly any development whatsoever.

I should admit that I'm a flat character. However my primary aim in life is to be a round character.

What is it (if you don't mind my asking) that makes you want to be a round character?

Sure. I understand from "flat" that it has sharp edges. Sometimes you may hurt your friends with these edges. Life gives us endless opportunities to understand ourselves throughout our living conditions.

If I can understand myself, I can understand whole the world. And it stops wars...

These are barely 10-20 % of my thoughts. The topic is tough and it is not easy for me to explain all my opinions...

As far as I understand from the words round and flat; round character is the one who gain some changes in the end,but the flat character is always what s/he is..
I think I'm a mix of them.Sometimes I can be very different from the girl the day before and sometimes I'm the same girl two days ago.I feel,I'm changing and getting back to the start constantly.

I am always against to categorizing people. To me ,it is not fair to put poeple into types of some sort. For years poeple have been putting people into types such as type-A or tpye-B people ; animal people or plant people; thinkers or feelers and so on..
And I do not want to say that I am that kind of person because I am unique.;)( as anybody else is )
