Tam Sürüm Bilgini Göster : too much knowledge Befida 8th September 2007, 13:29 Is too much knowledge a dangerous thing? I'm waiting your comments...:) Purgation 8th September 2007, 13:41 Is too much knowledge a dangerous thing? I'm waiting your comments...:) In fact, too much knowledge is not a dangerous thing but boring with a lot of question asked by people.. So many people in our country want to benefit from ones mind; this is a tough challenge.. If you know a lot of things, you are always first number in the society but not vice versa however our heart is pure and innocent.. That is, in this country, you have to hide your knowledge, i dont know other countrys tendency about this situation my dear friend ;) DivingDeep 8th September 2007, 13:52 sometimes yeah because they can be confused in our mind.all the rules or some knowledge which were learnt somewhere in the past we can confused each other.:) Ekin 8th September 2007, 14:16 Well, only a little knowledge is dangerous in my book. BBTÜRKAY 8th September 2007, 14:43 Is too much knowledge a dangerous thing? I'm waiting your comments...:) It is again the same Question: What is too much and not to much for you or for him/her/them/us? Eritmen 8th September 2007, 15:34 In my opinion "too much of anything is bad enough".Because "too" here brings the meanings of excessively and much more than need so we'd better take it negative. Much knowledge is okay , but when we come to "too much knowledge" it reminds me the words of unhappiness , solitude ,lack of satisfaction and Almighty. I see I am not alone remembering a few old sayings about this. "ignorance is happiness" or as Turkish people say : "Keskin sirke küpüne zarar" Saposcat 8th September 2007, 16:07 "ignorance is happiness" In English, it's generally rendered as "ignorance is bliss". Lavinia 8th September 2007, 16:27 I think every advantage has a disadvantage. And also disadvantages have an advantage. The important is knowing how you turn the disadvantages to advantages. So, my first aim is collecting “knowledge”. It is enough to me for a moment. But “too much knowledge” can maybe satisfy me for along time. And if someone has too much knowledge, s/he thinks that s/he has not much knowledge. What is the disadvantage here? I think too much knowledge brings also doubt.. This doubt can’t satiate you to knowledge. So we can also say that doubt can lend wings to knowledge. Befida 8th September 2007, 19:03 It is again the same Question: What is too much and not to much for you or for him/her/them/us? As Eritmen said, it has a negative meaning..:) But there may be some friends that want to have got it.. IcySeden 8th September 2007, 19:19 i'm agree with Eritmen Hoca.Every "too much" has a negative effect. Also, the accumulated knowlegde can be good in youth, but after years, the brain starts to think in a confused way.Maybe the person can have illnesses like Amnesia or smt else..But if you can arrange your knowlodge in a balanced way, then your mind don't have to be confused and become unbalanced.Actually, the knowlodge is not a dangerous thing, but the deep stress becomes dangerous for mental health when it gets mixed with too much knowledge. harpocrates 8th September 2007, 20:10 I got a friend once. He read lots of books, he knew alot. One day he just started to wash his hands every hour. Washed, washed and washed. His hands were shining, wow clean! Four days later his family took him to doctors. Then we heard he was about to go mad. Weird eh? BBTÜRKAY 9th September 2007, 01:35 As Eritmen said, it has a negative meaning..:) But there may be some friends that want to have got it.. The meaning or the grammar rules were not criticized. Thanks to Allah l know what "too" gives :) as an English Teacher. But; Seven (7) cup of coffee is too much for you Ten (10) cup of coffee is enough for me (not too much);) Carleone 9th September 2007, 01:37 Is too much knowledge a dangerous thing? I'm waiting your comments...:) Fazla mal göz çıkarmaz... IcySeden 9th September 2007, 01:45 But; Seven (7) cup of coffee is too much for you Ten (10) cup of coffee is enough for me (not too much);) You're right. It's a relative thing which can change about the capacity to capacity. Anyhow, every person has a too-limite,hasn't s/he :) AnGel 9th September 2007, 14:42 Fazla mal göz çıkarmaz... All messages are to be written in English ;) I think ''too much knowledge'' isn't that bad.Maybe have disadvantages , you are right. But it's better than living unconsciously... Befida 10th September 2007, 16:03 The meaning or the grammar rules were not criticized. Thanks to Allah l know what "too" gives :) as an English Teacher. But; Seven (7) cup of coffee is too much for you Ten (10) cup of coffee is enough for me (not too much);) I can't limit the meaning of it saying that "too much is that". Everybody knows what "too much" is for him/her. So s/he can answer this question considering his/her "too much" :) |
