I have been in Italy with a project (which is called Sokrates) two months ago.
We went to there with a group of students and teachers which was consist of ten students and two teachers.Initially I wanna mention that Italy is a perfect country.When you visit there ,I am definitely sure that you feel yourself as if you were in your homeland.Cos ,both Italian people and the other things are virtually same.
Since Italy is a Mediterranean country,it will not so much surprise to see foods or the people's attitudes.If you run accross a citizen while you're hanging around the Italian streets,it is quite difficult to distinguish who he or she is from.You can be sure that that person is definitely Turk but on the other hand he is genuinely Italian. :)
Meanwhile,during the our vacation of Italy we found Italian people are very very hospitable.They have a sympathy against turkish people as far as we saw there.Eventually we learned so many diffirent things. For instance when you're there you can not find an open market between 12.00 and 16.00pm.And also the traffic lights.Although the population is very densely they dont use traffic lights so much cos they think we can solve this problem by showing tolerance one another. :)

If any of my mates wants to visit Italy , I can help him/ her whenever he/she wants.

i went to Luxembourg with the project called Comenius. it was the first time for me so i was very excited. we stayed there for five days with our host families. wandering around the cities, learning the cultures and languages of each other's and having the feeling of freedom was wonderful.i wish i could have stayed there for more than five days.i recommend everybody to go to luxembourg,but also i wanna add that everything is very expensive there,so take extra money with you:)

I have been abroad twice. In 2000 I had gone to the USA where my brother is living. I wandered New York, Baltimoore and Washinton DC. I can certainly say that to see the foreign country maturing the people very much. But you also understand how Turkish people and grounds are beatiful. I had entered the USA on Sept 11 2000 exactly 1 year prior than terrorist attacks to the USA.

In 2003 I tried to go there one more time but I wasnt able to get VISA.

My second going abroad is in 2006. I went to Afghanistan for mission. I stayed there for six months. When I was there I only prayed and thanked to GOD. Because people in Afghanistan are very poor. :( It was looking like to Turkey after First World War. But I met a lot of people and still we are in connection each other.

I intended to say that for example before I went there I was only imaging and thinking the foreign country according to the tv programmes, films. For example in Afghanistan I met a lot of people from about 15 country, after I had conversation with them, I learnt what they are thinking about Turkey, invasion of Iraq, İslam .......What are the easteran europe countries are thinking, western europe countries are thinking.

I wasnt knowing that for example %95 percent of the countries hate the USA.

I was born in Germany (BREMEN) so i had been abroad:D I think germany is an excellent country.And it's very enjoyable to go there to school! people are different, life is different, everything is different there. I really wanna go there once more after the university :p:p:p :icon_wave:

yes ,I have been to Germany,Holland,Belgium and Egypt.I have a friend in Germany so I stayed there 3 weeks.It was different,life is really different there.Everywhere is clean and traffic is good,everybody obeys the traffic rules.This is very important for me because people in Turkey never obey.Egypt is really mysterious.Iwent to the pyramids.They are wonderful.I really suggest you to go and see but the weather is so hot.Cairo is different but a bit dirty.

ı have been to Germany.My sister lives in there and ı had a holiday for 2 months 3 years ago yes ı think this holiday inspired me to learn a foreign language becasue when ı listened to somebody who was speaking a language,different from my mother tongue or saw sth ,ı felt that ı didn't understand what they're saying so ı was unfamiliar with people.Even if ı am a person and ı can speak my mother tongue ı understand its not enough to contact with people,although you need help.So ı decided to choose a foreign language department.Then during my 2 months holiday in germany ı went to France becasue it is a city which is very close to my sister's city so it was easy to go there and ı think it was an another inspiring for my wanting to learn an another language.

I lived in Cyprus for two years..Now I am in Lebanon and this summer I will go to Spain.It is very good for me to see different countries and I am used to living abroad easily as I don't have a fixed address in Turkey too:D.I move on from one city/country to another.It is somewhat difficult.Especially I have difficulties with eating local foods.

I have never been abroad.Of course ,I want to go and see different countries.If my teachers or I make ready project , we may go together; but it seems impossible for now.I hope I can go one day.....

I have been to England, Scotland and Bulgaria. I really love to have trips to other countries and I want to see many more countries. May be you can assume England and Scotland as one country which is called the United Kingdom. I want to see Italy, Greece, Spain, Japan, Egypt.

It is a really nice thing to see diffirent countries, cultures, people. It provides a better and wider life understanding. First time I went to England, I was 10 or 11 years old and it was first time for me to see metro (underground transportation) I was surprised that we we were going down and down under ground and took a train to go somewhere else. :D (I don't remember when I went there last) In 2005 I have been to Bulgaria and I really surprised by seeing the differences and common grounds (like some foods) between Turkey and a neighbour country.

You had better search for a course and book a place in advance, because the first application period will be over on 16 January. That period will include courses organized between 1 April and 31 August.:)

It is damn hard actually. I managed to get it in two days thanks to a note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs saying that I would be there for a short period of time because I would be taking an in-service training course. Another guy who attended at the same course and applied for the visa on the same day I did couldn't get the visa in time so he arrived there only at the second week.

You have to prove many things actually. If you ever check the visa pages at their web sites you will see the bad side of bureacracy.

No, you don't even though you attend at a language course there.;)
