PV ile aranız nasıl ? Etkili bir şekilde öğrenebiliyor musunuz ? Eksiklerimizi burada giderelim, kimimiz 1o soruluk vocabulary kısmında bunları yanlış yapabiliyoruz. Şu ana kadar en çok çıkan ve çıkma ihtimali yüksek olan phrasal verbs kelimelerini yazalım buraya, paylaşalım.
Ben ilk olarak Dilko TR Geneli sınavda çıkan kelimeleri yazıyorum:


get over: iyileşmek, hastalıktan kurtulmak

to get better after an illness, or feel better after something or someone has made you unhappy.

Ex: She was only just getting over the flu when she got a stomach bug.


take up: bir şeyle meşgul olmak

take sth up (START): to start doing a particular job or activity
Ex: He's taken up the post of supervisor.

take sth up (FILL): to fill an amount of space or time
Ex: This desk takes up too much room.

take sth up (DISCUSS): to discuss something or deal with something
Ex: The school took the matter up with the police.

take sth up (CLOTHING):to shorten a piece of clothing, such as a skirt or trousers.


fall out: tartışmak

fall out (ARGUE):
Ex:Rachel and Fiona have had a falling-out and they're not speaking to each other.

fall out (SOLDIERS):If soldiers fall out, they move out of a line.
Ex: "Fall out, men!" shouted the sergeant-major.

fall out (SEPARATE):

Ex: Her baby teeth are starting to fall out.
Ex-2: A side effect of the treatment is that your hair starts to fall out.


open up: açmak

open (sth) up (LOCK):to open the lock on the door of a building
Ex:The caretaker opens up the school every morning at seven.

open sth up (SITUATION):
Ex:The government has announced plans to open up access to higher education.

open sth up (SHOW):
Ex:The security council debate could open up sharp differences between the countries.

open up (PERSON):to start to talk more about yourself and your feelings.
Ex:I've never opened up to anyone like I do to you.


put off: -den ayrılmak, bir randevuyu ertelemek
put sth off (DELAY)
Ex: The meeting has been put off for a week.

put sb off:to tell someone that you cannot see them or do something for them
Ex: I really don't want to go out with Helen and Greg tonight - can't we put them off ?

put sb off (sth) (TAKE ATTENTION AWAY)
Ex: Once she's made up her mind to do something, nothing will put her off.

put sb off (sth/sb) (DISLIKE)
Ex: The smell of hospitals always puts me off.
Ex-2: His attitude put me right off him.


look into: bakmak, araştırmak

to examine the facts about a problem or situation
Ex:We're looking into the possibility of merging the two departments.


fall back upon: başvurmak (çare olarak)



keep up with

1. ile aynı hızda/tempoda gitmek, -e ayak uydurmak. 2. (çağa/zamana) ayak uydurmak. 3. -i takip etmek, -i izleyerek bilgi sahibi olmak. 4. ile aşık atmak, ile yarışmak, -den geri kalmamak.

care for: bakmak, ilgilenmek
Ex: The children are being cared for by a relative.
